About APARA
Apara is an AI triage agent for security operations centres. It reads incoming alerts, decides how serious each one is, and either resolves it or escalates it to an analyst, showing the chain of reasoning behind every verdict rather than hiding it behind a confidence score. The platform is made of two tools. The Dispatch Console runs triage live against a real feed, with an autonomy dial that caps what the agent may act on by severity and confidence. The Evaluation Harness measures the agent against a team's own labelled alerts and reports real precision, recall, F1, a confusion matrix and threshold analysis, so a decision to deploy rests on measured evidence rather than a vendor claim.
Apara is built for security leaders and SOC analysts at mid-sized organisations who have already adopted AI tooling and found it added alerts and dashboards instead of removing work. It suits teams that want autonomy at low and medium severity while keeping a human firmly in the loop above that, and teams that need to justify an AI decision to a board, an auditor or a client before it acts on real traffic. If your analysts spend their day validating machine decisions instead of investigating, Apara is aimed at you.
Apara is built by the Apara team, a small product group working directly with security operations practitioners. The agent has been tested across sixty rounds on 1,000 randomly sampled real SIEM alerts spanning endpoint, IDS, cloud, IoT, network, authentication, firewall and AI-system events, reaching 97.8% precision and an 88% F1 score. We publish the limitations as openly as the results.
